Vancouver, known for its breathtaking natural beauty, transforms into a realm of spine-tingling terror every Halloween, thanks to its spectacular haunted houses. As the days grow shorter and the nights darker, adrenaline-seekers flock to these eerie attractions for heart-pounding scares.
One of our annual favourite Haunted Houses is the Barclay Manor Haunted House. A late 1800s heritage house is transformed into a scary haunted house with live actors!
The Dead Strange Fellows Haunted Brewhouse is a unique Halloween haunted house that takes place at an actual brewery!
There are 8 Haunted Houses at Fright Nights at the PNE. These are the largest and scariest haunted houses in Vancouver.
There are Community Centres Haunted/Spooky Houses that are mainly for the little ones.
These haunted houses transform into the most haunted places in Vancouver this season. Get your tickets early to ensure your entry. We cannot guarantee that you will get out!

Haunted House at Barclay Manor 8yrs+$West End
The Haunted House at Barclay Manor is an annual Haunted House put on by the West End Community Centre.
It takes about 5-10 minutes to make your way through the Barclay Manor which has been converted into a spooky, scary house!
This is a ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased online, or in person at the West End Community Centre or Coal Harbour Community Centre, or at the door. Tickets purchased at door are CASH ONLY.
There are live actors in each room that may scare you. Usually you can tell them at the door how scary you want it to be, i.e. if you want people to jump out at you!
Dates: October 25,2024: 7pm-9pm, October 26,2024: 4:30pm-6:30pm
Ages: 8+, parental discretion

Dead Strange Fellows Haunted Brewhouse All Ages$East Van
The Dead Strange Fellows Haunted Brewhouse is a Haunted House in the Strange Fellows Brewhouse.
"Dare to enter this all-new swamp of horrors that’s crawling with the Dead and enough frights to make you spill your beer!"
This is a self-guided tour through the haunted house with groups of 4. You are encouraged to dress in a halloween costume.
This is a ticketed event with 1 hour time intervals. Tickets can be purchased online.
Dates: October 18,19,20 and 25,26,27, 2024
Times: Fri,Sat,Sun: 5pm-10pm
Ages: All Ages, but under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian, 19+ to drink beer

Fright Nights 13yrs+$East Van
Fright Nights has 8 haunted houses:
- The Bloodshed -lots of bloody body parts in this one!
- Carn-Evil -returned in 2023 from an absense, it is scary clowns!
- Darkness - go dark in this haunted house!
- Fear - face all your fears in this haunted house!
- Haunted Mansion - The classic haunted house!
- Keepers Doll Factory - descend into the doll factory when the elevator malfunctions!
- Materia Medica - enter the old military base where many that go never come back!
- The Void - new in 2023, we especially like walking on the floor to get out of the caves!
Each of these haunted houses takes 10-15 minutes to go through and are professionally done.
There aren't people that jump out at you in the houses, but there are live actors walking around outside that will try to scare you!
